Nicholas Routhier, President & CEO

Mr. Routhier is a co-founder of SENSIO.  Since 1999, SENSIO has specialized in the development of stereoscopic technologies and is recognized as the leader in consumer 3D technologies. Mr. Routhier led the development of all its core technologies including SENSIO®3D, the company’s flagship offering, which allows the distribution of 3D content over existing 2D distribution networks as well as playback on any 3D display. Recognized by the industry for his vision and his passion, he is a guest speaker at numerous International events including CES (Consumer Electronic Show), CEATEC (Japan), IBC (Amsterdam), 3DID (Taiwan) and FMX (Germany). He is recognized as a visionary and a pioneer in the stereoscopic 3D industry and has led the company to become recognized in the entertainment and consumer electronic industries. Mr. Routhier began his career in the banking industry and he holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales - HEC (University of Montreal).

Richard LaBerge, VP Executive Vice-President, CMO

Richard LaBerge holds an MBA jointly from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales - HEC (University of Montreal) and Chapel Hill North Carolina University in finance and international management. He also has more than 15 years of experience in the banking industry.  At Mouvement Desjardins, he was a Consultant in Marketing Strategy helping developing financing tools adapted to technology companies.  Also Executive VP of SAJE, a Montreal-based non-profit incubation group, since 1994, he was involved in the analysis of more than one thousand business plans.  He began his career as a computer programmer in Australia and Montreal.  His understanding of the challenges facing start-up companies and his solid network has contributed greatly to SENSIO and the marketing of its first product.

Louis Rousseau, Vice President Marketing and Communications

Mr. Rousseau brings 17 years of experience in the information and communication technology industry to SENSIO. Recognized for his corporate vision and his multidisciplinary approach, Mr Rousseau has exercised different roles in major companies such as Sprint Canada, and Quebecor, and most recently as a Director of Marketing and Product Development at Vidéotron. His past roles have involved contributing his expertise to the development and furthering of solutions, structures and teams to accomplish strategic and operational goals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HEC Montreal, which he obtained after studying Engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada. He is a member of several professional associations.

Eric Choquette, Chief Financial Officer

Since May 2006, Mr. Eric Choquette has been the Chief Financial Officer of SENSIO Technologies Inc. From his arrival in March 2004 up to his appointment as chief financial officer of the company, he worked as controller. He was involved in various rounds of financing for the company and actively took part to its listing on the stock exchange. From May 1999 until September 2002, he was an accountant for the firm Gallant Dupuis Tremblay Sauvageau. He was also involved in several cases in the area of high-end technology. From September 2002 until March 2004, he was assistant controller at MAX Technologies Inc., a company which develops and makes high-performance software for the field of avionics.

Etienne Fortin, Chief Technological Officer

As Chief Technology Officer at SENSIO, Etienne Fortin leads the company's R&D programs with innovation and creativity. Having more than 10 years experience in engineering and in the technology industry, Mr. Fortin is responsible for bringing SENSIO's technology to new heights. Before joining SENSIO, Mr. Fortin worked within the engineering division of Bombardier Aeronautics.  Passionate about computer science and its possibilities, he is the author of numerous scientific articles and participates at numerous speaking engagements. He holds a bachelor's and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from ETS University of Montreal.
